Paediatric Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology

Servicing children and their families.

Our mission is to provide both client and family centred practice to assist our children and families to reach their goals.

What is Occupational Therapy and how can we help?

We predominately work with children with a variety of learning delays and diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Global Developmental Delay, Intellectual Disabilities, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and more. We help to enable children to be able to participate in their everyday activities. In particular, we may assist with self care, fine and gross motor skills, emotional regulation, play and social skills, sensory integration and more! We value that each child and family is unique, thus goals may differ.

What is Speech Pathology and how can we help?

As a Speech Pathologist, we work with children as described as above, in particular, with language and communication concerns. We assist children with social and communication skills, expressive (speaking) and receptive (understanding) language along with stuttering, literacy concerns and more. Speech Pathologist’s and Occupational Therapist’s work alongside each other to reach client centred goals.
